It is designed to meet Apple App Store and Google Play disclosure requirements and should be read together with any in-app permission prompts you see on your device.

We access sensitive device data only when needed for a feature you use, and only after the app shows the system permission prompt or an in-app explanation of why the permission is requested.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your QTAG account and associated personal information at any time using any of the following methods:
- Email: Send a request to privacy@qtag.com.au with the subject “Account Deletion Request” from the email address linked to your account
- Support: Contact support@my-qtag.com and ask for account deletion
- Organisation administrator: Your organisation’s QTAG administrator can remove your user account from the web admin panel
After we verify your identity, we delete or anonymise personal information within 30 days, except where we must retain data for legal, tax, billing, fraud-prevention, or security obligations (for example, invoice and payment records). Asset and inspection records created for your organisation may remain under your organisation’s control until an authorised administrator deletes them or closes the organisation account.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations:
- Account and profile data: For the life of your account, then up to 30 days after a verified deletion request
- Asset, inspection, and uploaded files: Until deleted by you or your organisation’s authorised users, or until the organisation account is closed
- Payment and invoice records: As required for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution (typically up to 7 years where applicable)
- Server, security, and diagnostic logs: Generally up to 90 days, unless a longer period is needed to investigate an incident
- Support correspondence: For a reasonable period to resolve your request and maintain service records
